Well Hi there everyone! :)
My name is Jordan and I'm 19 years old. I live in Alabama and my biggest passion is what you see or will see in my photos!
I've been doing "fantasy" makeup for over three years! I do facepainting, formal make-up, cosplay(not really for characters, but I do dress up in costumes and so do my models) I also Like to use props...lots and lots of them!
If its two things i must have before I do someone's makeup or my own, it would have to be my ipod, turned up loud, and ALL of my makeup.
I enjoy using my wigs instead of natural hair...i'm not gonna lie, hair is not something I 'm really good at. I stick to wigs because its up and go!
here's some fun facts about my crazy artist's collection:
I currently have 8 wigs, about ten to 15 costumes.
oh boy...I can tell your just thrilled to death:P lol
ANYWHO, i've been collecting my costumes and wigs about the same time i started my make-up obsession.
As of now I am working on going to a community college where i will study my basic skills. Then later transfer to a nearby University to major and study in Theatre Costume/Design Tech.
I was in my high School Theatre Association for three years. (sophomore, Junior, and Senior years) in those three years i've only been a lead in one play, while being a half-lead in the others. That one play turned out to be my favorite! (I played an 11 year old girl in "The Ransom of Emily Jane") In my senior year, I was the theatre association president and earned the title of costume rep, and worked on helping other actors with thier stage presence. Being in theatre along with this passion for costume/design has really helped make my dream of becoming a professional makeup artist even more realistic. I one day dream of being a contestant on the show (my favorite) FaceOff! XD!
I really enjoy crazy makeup the best. I'm a naturally crazy person, and most of my designs consist of lots of eyelashes, big swirls, and loads of eyeliner! of course no look is complete without a costume, and to be honest, I have to look at pictures or see a costume before i get inspired enough to try a look or design, (so naturally the best time to experiment would be during HALLOWEEN!) Along with these makeups, i practice my modeling. All of my pitures I have modeled for (with the exception of some friends and family who have been my greatest support! thanks muah!) My aunt has taken most of my photos, she's a wonderful photographer and lives nearby, you can find and view her work on my facebook page.
I do some occaisional modeling and have modeled for many of my aunts shoots:)
I also appeared in Jody Magazine, A local magazine that is real popular in my city, as a celebrated "local artist" and also was the makeup artist for a prom spread in the same issue:) it was a highlight moment in my life:)
